VALENTINIAN III, 425-455 Roman Empire Gold Solidus. NGC has designated this Choice AU with 5/5 given to the strike and 4/5 to the surface. I think they knocked down the surface because of the small encrustation on the back (under left armpit) that looks like it would come off after a trip to NCS no problem. Has been in my collection for over 5 years.
