Feel free to look up the certification number on the NGC website. I'm mainly a collector, but I sell now and then to change up my collection. I sell things at a good price since I'm not making a living here. Please shop around for this same coin elsewhere, I'm sure you'll find this price very competitive. I sent this coin in myself to get graded.
I think they could've gone VF, but they're the experts. Having a large Augustus coin like this is a very nice addition for any "Ancients" coin collection, but it also stands on its own as a piece of historical intrigue and art. It's struck nicely on both sides and has good detail for this grade. This is an investment in a piece of history and will certainly go up in value. Augustus was truly the first Roman Emperor, and his reign was a major turning point for Rome and western civilization as a whole.
